Tough guy Hugo Chavez doesn’t seem so tough anymore now that the global economic downturn and plunge in oil price is hurting his income, and hence his goal of turning Venezuela into a socialist mecca. After having some fun seizing foreign oil company properties and harassing them with tax officials, he’s now soliciting bids for these oil companies to come back to drill.
This guy is a nutcase and has no clue as to how to run a country, even one with such vast oil reserves. His hardline socialism is isolating Venezuela and depriving its people of a better future.
