Government gets into the URL shortening business

Yet another .gov site, courtesy of our tax money.
Does it provide more transparency to the government entities? No. Does it cut government spending? Unlikely. Does it help our troops overseas? Ha. Does it protect our homeland? Yawn.

HuckPAC relaunches today! (No April Fool’s joke!)

Got word that HuckPAC will relaunch with a new design on April 1 at 3:00pm EST! As far as I know it’s not an April Fool’s joke! We all know Gov. Huckabee has a great sense of humor, but I’m sure he doesn’t take lightly something like this. :-)

The Treasury Department announces FinancialStability.gov:
a website dedicated to bringing transparency and clarity to the immensely complex problems in the financial system and the President’s plans to address them.
If Geithner cannot explain it on TV, how can he explain it on a website? I’d rather all that money, time, and energy spent on creating this website [...]
