Franken officially completes Dems’ 60-seat majority

The Minnesota Supreme Court declares 5-0 that Al Franken (D) is a senator from Minnesota:
“We affirm the decision of the trial court that Al Franken received the highest number of votes legally cast and is entitled…to receive the certificate of election as United States Senator from the State of Minnesota.”

Franken now likely to win MN Senate seat

Talk about twist and turns in the yet-to-be-resolved Minnesota Senate race between Norm Colman (R) and entertainer Al Franken (D). This blows my mind. Franken trailing by just single digits?! Voters now have no excuse in saying their votes don’t count…

Something fishy in the MN senate race

The Minnesota senate race is in a real mess now. Republican Norm Coleman had a decent lead after election day, but in the next few days Democratic challenger Al Franken started getting more and more votes. In fact, a gain of 504 votes in 4 days. And there hasn’t even been an official recount yet!
