Conservative voters are angry, liberal voters are upset, senior voters are skeptical, and young voters are losing their passion. The current bill as-is not only faces opposition from the Republicans but also among Blue Dog Democrats. Without a public option, however, it won’t win support from liberals.

It’s a mistake from the beginning for the majority Democrats to shove ObamaCare down our throats. With a war in Afghanistan, depressed housing markets, rising jobless rates, and failing banks, most Americans agree that a health care overhaul is the last thing the nation needs. The Democrats clearly overplayed their hand and people are starting to see how scary the Congress has become.

Health care reform is needed, but not now and not in its current proposal.
