(Human Events) Remember the big huge political struggle over the debt ceiling last Summer, in which doors were slammed shut, promises, promises and more promises were made and VP Joe Biden referred to people interested in fiscal discipline as “Traitors” ending with The Budget Control Act of 2011 whose absolute worthlessness has been made abundantly clear.
The so called Super Committee was a total bust and now Businessweek brings us word that President Obama wants to raise the debt ceiling again and not just by a little–President Downgrade wants yet another $1.2 Trillion added to the already explosive budget deficit of over $15 Trillion
Flashback: Remember when Obama campaigned in 2008 promising a net spending cut and telling Americans every chance that he could about the “fiscal irresponsibility” of the Bush Administration complaining in his second debate with Republican Presidential candidate Sen John McCain, “We have had over the last eight years the biggest increases in deficit spending and national debt in our history.”
As President Obama wasted no time tacking on another $5 Trillion in Debt in record setting time–in every measure budget incompetency the last 3 years have dwarfed the previous 8 during the Bush era.
