White House to oppose DOJ decision in KSM trial

The White House is close to making it official that putting Khalid Sheik Mohammed on trial in NYC isn’t such a good idea and that he should stand before a military tribunal. Opposition has come from both the left and the right and from major political figures inside and outside of New York. This will [...]

The confession of KSM

The video is down but I read the transcript and it made my blood boil. Starting on page 18 lists his atrocious acts, including the decapitation of Daniel Pearl.
And Eric Holder wanted this monster to stand trial in NYC like any American? He’ll forever tarnish the American justice system.
Fortunately for KSM we are a nation [...]

The KSM trial: Is it or is it not NYC?

The Justice Department and White House may be considering a new — umm, old? — venue to try master terrorist Khalid Sheik Mohammed. It was supposed to be NYC because Attorney General Eric Holder thinks that’s where the crime was committed. So naturally, NYC would be the place to hold the trial.
But guess what? Hell [...]

John Yoo schools Jon Stewart, Marc Thiessen confronts Christiane Amanpour

Former Bush administration DOJ offiial John Yoo made an appearance on The Daily Show to discuss waterboarding with Jon Stewart. Yoo was instrumental in clearing the way for the Defense Department to categorize al Qaeda terrorists as enemy combatants, therefore not subject to the Geneva Conventions. He also offered legal opinion which allowed the CIA [...]

Released Gitmo prisoners end up as Taliban leaders

Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL) shares some disturbing news:
Kirk said NATO Major Gen. Michael T. Flynn told him, “Tell the people back home this: that not only are the people being released from Guantanamo and rejoining Jihad against the United States and our allies in Afghanistan, but the Gitmo detainees are they hardest nut to crack. [...]

Gitmo prisoners wish to stay put

Unbelievable. This is one of the things that frustrate me about the Obama administration… They decide on policy that defies common sense, just blindly pursue the agenda.
“We hate George W. Bush! Gitmo reminds us of him and his torturous deeds. Let’s shut it down!” Guess what? The prisoners don’t want to relocate to the supermax [...]

Al Qaeda becomes more sophisticated

It appears al Qaeda is now capable of infiltration and double-agent operations:
The suicide bomber who killed eight people at a CIA base in Afghanistan last week was a Jordanian working as an al-Qaeda double agent.
Western intelligence officials identified the suicide bomber as Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, a 36-year-old doctor from Zarqa, Jordan, the Los Angeles [...]

Questionable ethics of TSA nominee

Liar, liar, pants on fire. Except this time it’s not the Crotch Bomber, but Obama’s nominee to lead the TSA, Erroll Southers:
Southers, a former FBI agent, has described inconsistencies in his accounts to Congress as “inadvertent” and the result of poor memory of an incident that dates back 20 years. He said in a Nov. [...]

Al Qaeda ‘Crotch Bomber’ foiled, charged with terrorism

It’s a sad reality in today’s world where Islamofascists continue to carry out their jihad against the West, especially the United States, even on Christmas. (Note to President Obama and A.G. Eric Holder: Please stay out of the way of our brave CIA agents. Let them do their job. Give them any resource they need [...]

Obama not serious about Afghanistan

Finally — President Obama announced his Afghanistan troop surge plan during an address at the esteemed West Point academy. Instead of a simple, clear “We will finish the job and be victorious” or “We will abandon Afghanistan in defeat” plan, he is going to send 30,000 troops there, then withdraw after 18 months.
Say what?!
As cadets, [...]

KSM trial: When is the enemy just a criminal?

The al Qaeda terrorists who planned and executed the NYC and Pentagon attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 weren’t members of a sophisticated international crime ring. They were members of a worldwide terrorist group bent on destroying America and the West. They valued the senseless act of mass murder over the value of their own lives. [...]

More insanity: Navy SEALs to be prosecuted for capturing terrorist

Remember back in 2004 the graphic images of Blackwater security guards mutilated, hanging on a bridge in Iraq? Navy SEALs were able to capture the terrorist behind those gruesome murders, Ahmed Hashim Abed.
But now the brave members of the Navy special operations unit are to stand trial for assault charges in civilian court.
Are we going [...]
